About our PResenters!
Candice Nicole is a vibrant, creative, 30 something on her way to the top woman! She was born in Washington, DC and raised in Montgomery County, MD. She has a degree in Communications/Public Relations from Morgan State University and the owner of boutique Public Relations firm Candice Nicole Public Relations and a Women's Network called Women Who Hustle. 
While at Morgan State, Candice became a member of the YWCA Public Relations Committee and joined AccessPR, later to become Vice President/President. In addition, she interned at WEAA 88.9 AM, Minority Wealth Magazine, Von Dutch Originals (Headquarters in LA), and volunteered at various BET Awards/Events (including BET Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, Rip the Runway & BET Honors). All of these experiences set the tone for Candice very early in her career.

In 2007, Candice founded Candice Nicole Public Relations while attending a concert at LOVE Nightclub in Washington, DC. To date, one of the major highlights in Candice’s career was when she was one fifth of the organizers to put on the DMV Helps Haiti Benefit Concert held Washington, DC in 2010 at the 930 Club. The event raised over $37,000 and showcased some of the most elite talent in the DMV (DC/MD/VA) area with Wale being the headliner. Since establishing CNPR as one of most sought after boutique firms in DC, Candice has worked on high profile projects such as Master of the Mix, Black Alumni Networking Expo, Taste Prince George's Food & Wine Festival, The Scarborough Foundation Gala, Spike Lee's "Red Hook Summer", OWN Network's "Sweetie Pie's"/"The Have's & Have Nots", "Love Thy Neighbor", Truvee Wines DC Launch + more. CNPR clients have been seen/featured on BET Networks, Fox 5, NBC 4, CBS 9, ABC 7, WEAA 88.9, Black Enterprise, The Washington Informer + more!
Candice is also proud to be the recipient of many awards, being listed on several PR lists, a former online radio personality and also named Top 30 Under 30 in the DMV by WKYS 93.9 in 2011. Most recently, she has gained the title of VP of Marketing for Alliance for Women in Media-DC Chapter, has become the author of e-book titled "The PR Puzzle", became Co-Creator of "Ready, Set, PITCH!" Workshop Series, along with many other new developments.
CNPR continues to flourish and move forward in making a huge influence in the entertainment industry as well as other industries such as fashion, lifestyle, small business and technology. In 2015, in her company's eighth year, Candice decided to step out on faith and is now operating CNPR full time and is looking forward to inspire others in becoming entrepreneurs and to continue to spread knowledge on her passion, Public Relations.
Brittney S. Carter, APR is the founder and creator of "Ready, Set, PITCH!" Workshop Series and the CEO of B. Carter Solutions, LLC, a Public Relations Media Technology firm that specializes in PR, Social Media Management and Media Relations utilizing today’s modern technology and trends; where she goes above and beyond to exceed her client’s expectations by offering a fresh approach to innovative solutions. Brittney S. Carter has advanced in the realm of Media Technology showcasing how the world of Social Media goes hand in hand with today’s modern technology. She utilizes effective social media marketing tools, and has gained a visible online presence and distinguished brand with over 13 thousand active followers on Instagram and 6 thousand on Facebook.
B. Carter has been named one of the Top 30 under 30 young entrepreneurs in the United States by HBCU Buzz, Top 15 women for Philanthropic contributions in the community for WPGC, along with being publicly recognized by a plethora of other entrepreneurial platforms. With a dedicated work ethic and ambitious persona, it is no surprise that Brittney S. Carter has elevated in her pathway to success, and has been featured in high-profile media outlets such as: Fox 5 News, Washington Informer, Good Morning Washington, Black Enterprise, HBCU Buzz- just to name a few. Brittney has created a media solutions company that focuses on elevating her clients’ imagination by focusing on their mission behind their vision using today’s modern technology. She uses her creative techniques, and innovative technology thinking to create out-of-the-box grand solutions. She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a minor in Public Relations from the prestigious Claflin University, received her accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America, so she is no stranger to effective communications. She has earned a reputation all over the region for thinking “out-of-the-box” with her ideas, and transforming them to unimaginable solutions.
