Camden Rep Presents The G.U.C.C.I. Girls Teen Financial Literacy Conference on April 1st


WHAT: The G.U.C.C.I. Girls Teen Financial Literacy Conference, presented by Camden Repertory Theater, is a one-day immersive experience designed to teach teen girls from underrepresented economic groups the essentials of money management, budgeting, and investing. The acronym for G.U.C.C.I. stands for Guarenteering girls from Underrepresented economic groups Creative ways to Count and Invest their money. This high-energy event blends education with creativity, using a high—powered panel of experts and live performance to bring financial literacy to life. The mission of the conference is to ultimately empower teen girls with the tools to not “blow the bag.”

The special performance of “4 $ALE!”, an original theatrical production written by Desi P. Shelton, Founder of Camden Rep, and starring HBCU graduate of Cheyney University India Marie Cross and recent NYU graduate Journey Jones — with the script spotlighting two young girls navigating life-changing decisions and handling money.
